Directions

We are located at 1160 Route 9 in Garrison, NY.
 

From NYC and New Jersey
1. Take the Palisades Parkway heading north. (From NYC take the George Washington Bridge to the Palisades Parkway). Stay on the parkway to the very end, heading toward the Bear Mountain Bridge. Be careful not to inadvertently leave the Parkway at exit 18 - it is a 2-lane left-hand exit that goes to Central Valley. Stay to the right & follow the Palisades Parkway to the end.
 

At the end of the parkway is a traffic circle (be sure to yield, as the oncoming traffic can be a hazard). Follow the circle around to the Bear Mountain Bridge & go across the bridge (do NOT go on Route 9W). At the end of the bridge, go left onto Route 9D, toward Cold Spring. At the first traffic light go right onto Route 403. Continue to the end of 403 where you will see a traffic light. Continue straight to merge onto Route 9 south. On the left you will see Graymoor (a Franciscan monastery that holds a wonderful "Blessing of the Animals" each October). Continue 1/2 mile beyond this point; look for a long stone wall on the right - when you see the wall put on your left-hand directional signal. On the left you will see a white mailbox labeled 1176 , this is the neighbor's driveway.  Just past the white mailbox is a black mailbox and a post that says 1160.  Turn left into the 1160 driveway and follow to the top.

2. An alternate approach from NYC is to take the West Side Highway North to the Saw Mill River Parkway to the Taconic State Parkway Northbound. Follow directions from the Taconic State Parkway in #3 below.

3. From Queens and Long Island take the Whitestone Bridge to the Hutchinson River Parkway. Exit at the Saw Mill River Parkway and keep right because shortly thereafter you will exit onto the Sprain Brook Parkway, heading north (this is the right-hand of the fork - do NOT take the Bronx River Parkway fork on the left). Continue on the Sprain Brook Parkway northbound, which will become the Taconic State Parkway. Exit at Route 202/35 (the exit after the FDR State Park). At the traffic light make a left onto Rout 202. Follow for approximately 5 miles to the Bear Mountain Parkway (turn right at the traffic light immediately after a bowling alley). Stay in the right-hand lane of the Bear Mountain Parkway heading West; this lane will automatically exit at Highland Avenue. Turn right onto Highland Avenue; it will automatically lead you to Route 9 heading North. Pass the "1 2 3 Foodstop Deli" on your right, & look for a black mailbox on the right with the number 1160. 

From Westchester
4. Follow the directions under #3 above, using the Taconic State Parkway. If you are located in eastern Westchester, follow Route 35 to Route 202 heading West, then follow as in #3 above.
